Subprocessors

Last updated October 9, 2026

These are the third parties that process data to provide MISE EN AI. Our data processing addendum explains how we choose them and how we announce changes; our privacy policy explains what data each kind of feature uses.

Subprocessors that operate the Service

We use these providers for every customer to run MISE EN AI.

  • VercelApplication hosting and file storage

Runs the web application and its server functions (in the United States), and stores uploaded document originals in a private file store, encrypted by the application before upload. Processes all requests to the Service, including the data in them, and keeps request logs.

  • NeonDatabase hosting

Hosts the PostgreSQL database that stores account and Customer Data, including document originals uploaded before file storage was turned on and those of demo organizations.

  • ResendTransactional email

Sends account, security, notification and purchase-order email. If an organization turns on invoices by email, receives those emails and their attachments.

  • AnthropicAI processing

Provides the Claude models that read uploaded invoices, delivery tickets and vendor statements, answer AI CFO questions, and write the daily briefing note. Receives the document or question and the business figures needed to answer it.

  • StripeBilling and payment processing

Runs subscription checkout, recurring billing, invoices and the billing portal. Receives the organization name, the billing contact’s email and the number of billed locations; collects card details directly.

  • Open-MeteoWeather data

Supplies weather for sales forecasts. Receives only a location’s city, region and country, or its approximate coordinates; no names, accounts or business figures.

Integrations you choose

These services receive or send data only if your organization connects them or sends data to them. We don’t treat them as our subprocessors: you decide whether to use them, each provider’s own terms and privacy policy govern what it does with the data, and you can disconnect any of them at any time. Webhook endpoints you add and vendors you email purchase orders to also receive only what you send them.

  • PlaidBank connections

Connects a bank account when a customer chooses “Connect a bank”. Bank sign-in happens in Plaid’s own window; we receive account names, the last four digits, balances and transactions.

  • SquarePoint of sale

When connected, supplies sales, orders, catalog items, locations, team members, time-clock records and wages; receives menu price changes a customer chooses to send.

  • Intuit QuickBooks OnlineAccounting

When connected, supplies the chart of accounts and related reference data; receives the journal entries, bills, vendor credits and vendor names a customer approves for export.

  • XeroAccounting

When connected, supplies the chart of accounts and related reference data; receives the journal entries, bank transactions, bills, vendor credits and contacts a customer approves for export.

  • SlackNotifications

If a customer adds a Slack incoming webhook, receives the notifications the customer chose to send there.

Updates

We update this page before a new subprocessor starts processing customer personal data. To be told about changes by email, write to williamsedgwick@miseenai.com.
